Mason Greenwood Arrested for a Second Time

Manchester United youngster, Mason Greenwood has been arrested for a second time.

Greenwood had been arrested earlier this year on allegation of rape by his girlfriend Harriet.

His girlfriend posted videos and audio files to back the rape allegations against the Manchester United forward.

Greenwood was then suspended by Manchester United and even a host of footballers unfollowed him on Instagram and other social media platforms.

At the time of his second arrest, Mason Greenwood was out on bail. The second arrest is as a result of breach of bail term.

Mason had this morning contacted his ex-girlfriend who is the victim and even followed her on Instagram. Some reports in England indicate the two were staying together.

According to the terms of the bail, Greenwood was not supposed to get into contact with the victim, he however breached this leading to his second arrest.

The evidence provided against Greenwood in January during his first arrest indicated intent to rape, kill and assault.

The case was due to be heard in a private court but now the future of the youngster is uncertain after being arrest in the morning.

Questions now arise if Mason Greenwood will ever play football let alone play for Manchester United.

Some Manchester United had earlier expressed their delight seeing Greenwood follow his ex-girlfriend on Instagram thinking the charges have been dropped. To their surprise ,the plot has changed.

Greenwood situation has brought divided opinions amongst Manchester United fans.

Sections of the fans feel he should never play for the club no matter the outcome of the court while some think he should be given a second chance.

Greenwood at the time of his arrest was one of the promising young talents in football. He had featured in over 90 matches for Manchester United scoring 24 goals.
