Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has made his outburst public as he lamented about financial fair play.
In an interview by Sky Sports, Jurgen Klopp specifically referred to two clubs, Manchester City and Newcastle United having violated the financial fair play.
Klopp in a sarcastic gesture said “Nobody can compete with City. We cannot act like them, it’s not possible.”
“Newcastle have said ‘there’s no ceiling for this club’, and he’s absolutely right. Congratulations. Some other clubs have ceilings.”

The statements by Jurgen Klopp has now escalated to a whole new debate of financial dominance. Both Manchester City and Newcastle United fans feel the Liverpool boss isn`t being too honest while a section of rival fans feel Klopp is right.
Manchester City have won four consecutive premier league titles and Liverpool have been their closest rival during this dominance period.
Jurgen Klopp Argument
Klopp however argues that they can`t just get to City`s level because the kind of money their rivals pour into the market for good players.
Despite having slightly escaped financial fair play ban in 2020, Manchester City have spent close to 240 Euros on transfers.
Newcastle United on the other hand are now arguably the richest club in the world after the Saudi take over. They have as well spent huge amount of money on transfers.
Despite all these money on transfers and yet no financial fair play breach? Everyone can understand where Jurgen is coming from but is he being honest?

In as much as City have more in terms of net spend than Liverpool in the last five seasons, Liverpool have spent some extra ordinary amount of money on players.
The Reds signed Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton at a fee of £75m, Allison £62m Nunez form Benfica at £85m Salah £40m ,Mane £30m ,Diaz £50m ,Fabinho at £40m Konate £33m and Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich at £30m.
Newcastle United are currently the highest spenders in the premier league. Manchester City travel to Anfield tomorrow to face Liverpool.
Liverpool vs Manchester City has been one of the most entertaining clashes in the premier league.
With the statements made by Jurgen Klopp right before this clash, expectations are high but there is no doubt it will be a match full of emotions.
